Return to the Wild

If you were captivated by McCandless' story, here is a trailer for a documentary that came out on PBS last year. It's a great film if you can get ahold of it in full (the free streaming for it recently expired!). The director interviews Chris' sisters who reveals more of what was going on in the family that pushed Chris into the wild. We learn so much more about Chris' father, Walt, and the dynamic between the father and son. It's a compelling documentary and allows you to get a glimpse of the Alaskan wild and Chris' magic bus.
